The course permits executives, and future
executives to encounter and analyse the main themes and problems of corporate
governance.
Four main themes are considered:

- The History of Corporate Governance
- Recent developments
- Corporate Governance and Corporate Strategy
These courses also make use of an

Programs for Board Members
The IFGE proposes an annual seminar for
board members as well as for managers, as well as tailor made programs
designed in collaboration with EM LYON's Continuing Education office, well
known throughout Europe for the high quality of its programs.
Employee directors from Renault,
Bouygues, Air France, and Ilog have participated in our Certificate Program.
The focus of the program is Director responsibility, and the monitoring of
firm risks.
This seminar enables participants to
acquire the added competences required because of the increasing complexity
of the role of the company director, even more so when the board member is a
firm employee
As indicated above, this program leads to
a Certificate, delivered by the Institute under the auspices of the EM LYON
management school.
Furthermore, the IFGE participates in EM
LYON's continuing education programs. The IFGE organizes seminars that
present the stakes and strategic consequences of corporate governance to
seminar participants.
